About this Cause

The event features local celebrities as they take the stage at the Alhambra Theatre every other year to compete in the Dancing With Our Stars fundraiser. Proceeds from the sold out event and the funds raised during the dancing festivities support the missions of both the Pennyroyal Arts Council and Sanctuary, Inc. Money is raised leading up to the event as community members cast their “vote” for their favorite team. Voting is key in this competition! The couple with the most online and event votes will be named this year’s mirror-ball champions. The winner is not necessarily the best dance duo, but the team that raises the most money. Each dollar donated counts as a vote and voting gives you the opportunity to support your favorite celebrity couple!
